Ranger Division of BendPak introduced the RWL175 Pneumatic Wheel Lift for wheel balancers. The lift is designed to help technicians safely raise and position wheel assemblies weighing up to 175 pounds for mounting on most wheel balancers.

The company said the product addresses challenges related to heavier wheel and tire combinations and workforce shortages in the automotive service industry.

“Physically wrestling large wheels onto a balancer shaft can strain technicians’ backs and shoulders,” said Sean Price, BendPak director of product development. “The Ranger RWL175 helps with lifting and positioning while protecting technicians and wheels.”

Designed for Heavy-Duty Wheel Service

The RWL175 is intended for custom and heavy-duty wheels that require lug-centric mounting, which can be difficult for a single technician to install using universal lug bolt adapters.

The wheel lift supports the assembly during alignment to help reduce the risk of damage to wheels, balancer shafts and adapters while improving installation efficiency.

The air-operated lift features a compact design intended to fit under or in front of most wheel balancers. Technicians roll the wheel onto the platform, activate the air control and raise the wheel to mounting height. A sliding platform allows for positioning adjustments during installation.

Designed for automotive repair shops and tire service bays, the RWL175 is constructed from heavy-duty steel and includes cone hangers to keep cones and locking nuts organized and accessible.
