Carry Barrel Lift, distributed by Exalted Mechanicals Inc., launched a powered truck-mounted lift-and-dump attachment designed for landscape contractors, lawn care crews, municipal departments and property maintenance companies.

The Carry Barrel Lift mounts to the side of a dump truck body and is powered by the truck’s battery. It lifts filled 60-gallon carry barrels weighing up to 120 pounds, tips the contents into the truck body and returns the barrel to ground level for the next load.

The system is designed for crews handling leaves, grass clippings, debris, soil, mulch, yard waste and other materials, helping reduce repeated manual lifting.

“Landscape crews deal with this problem every day,” said Vincent Di Paolo, product designer of the Carry Barrel Lift. “A filled carry barrel can be heavy and awkward to lift into a dump truck repeatedly. The Carry Barrel Lift was designed to make that job easier and help crews work more efficiently.”

Designed for Existing Dump Truck Fleets

The Carry Barrel Lift comes preassembled with connectors and cables and uses a width-adjustable saddle mount system designed to fit a range of dump truck bodies.

The attachment can be mounted on either side of the truck body, moved along the body using rollers and remain mounted while the truck is in motion.

The company said the product is intended as an add-on solution for crews already using dump trucks and 60-gallon carry barrels, rather than requiring larger equipment upgrades.
