WALTER Surface Technologies
WALTER Surface Technologies has introduced Slap Shot Contact Cleaner, a fast-evaporating, residue-free cleaning solution designed to remove grease, oil, dust, grime, adhesives, oxidation, and other contaminants from a range of industrial surfaces.
The contact cleaner is designed for use on metals, painted surfaces, and many plastics. It is the latest addition to the company’s Slap Shot product line.
Maintenance teams often use multiple products for different cleaning applications across a facility. Slap Shot Contact Cleaner is intended to combine several cleaning functions into one product, including contaminant removal, rapid evaporation, moisture displacement, no-wipe cleaning, non-conductive performance, and residue-free cleaning.
“Customers were asking for a cleaner that could deliver powerful degreasing performance without sacrificing material compatibility or leaving residue behind,” said Dr. Saadia Nousir, senior chemical development specialist at WALTER Surface Technologies. “Slap Shot Contact Cleaner was created to help maintenance teams reduce downtime and confidently clean a wide range of equipment with a single high-performance solution.”
Slap Shot Contact Cleaner is 50-state compliant, allowing facilities to standardize its use across regions with different VOC requirements. The product has a non-chlorinated formulation and is designed to reduce the number of cleaning products needed across maintenance operations.
