Value-focused buyers have a new option in shop equipment. BendPak has expanded its Apex product line beyond garage and trailer ramps to include two-post lifts, tire changers, wheel balancers, and related accessories. The equipment is designed for daily shop use and supported through BendPak’s service network.
“Our goal was to offer durable lifts and wheel service equipment without unnecessary features,” said Tyler Rex, senior director of marketing at BendPak.

The Apex lineup includes the AL9LC and AL10C two-post lifts, AT26 and AT26A swing-arm tire changers, and AB24M and AB28 manual wheel balancers. Optional accessories and lift adapters are also available.
Two-Post Lift Features and Configurations
The Apex two-post lifts offer symmetric and asymmetric lifting, triple-telescoping front arms, and dual-stage rear arms to support a wide range of vehicles, from compact cars to full-size pickups. Telescoping screw pads and stackable adapters are included. Automatic safety locks engage at three-inch intervals, and automatic arm restraints secure the lift arms. Each lift includes a 36-month warranty.
The AL9LC two-post lift has a 9,000-pound capacity and a low-ceiling floorplate design that eliminates the top crossbar to increase overhead clearance. The lift uses a chain-over design with an industrial-grade leaf chain and oversized rollers with grease fittings to support long-term durability.

The AL10LC two-post lift has a 10,000-pound capacity and a clear-floor design that allows equipment to move freely beneath the raised vehicle. An overhead structure reinforces the frame and includes a padded shutoff bar that stops the lift if the vehicle is raised too high. The lift uses a direct-drive system with dual hydraulic cylinders and self-lubricating guide blocks to reduce maintenance needs.
Tire Changers and Wheel Balancers
The AT26 and AT26A swing-arm tire changers are designed to handle low-profile, oversized, and truck tires. Both units feature a high-torque electric turntable, bead-breaking system, spring-assisted tool shaft, and hardened outrigger arm for stable tool positioning.

The AT26A adds a pneumatic assist arm for mounting and demounting run-flat and heavy-duty tires. It also includes a drop-center tool, tire-handling hook, and inflation restraint device. These features are optional for the AT26.

The AB28 manual wheel balancer supports wheels up to 44 inches in diameter and calculates weight placement in a seven-second cycle. LED indicators guide technicians to the correct balance position.
The AB24M wheel balancer mounts directly to a swing-arm tire changer using a bracket, creating a combined workstation that reduces floor space requirements. It can also be mounted to a vertical support structure. The AB24M accommodates passenger, light truck, and motorcycle wheels and uses a Quick-Spin Speed-Nut system to reach balancing speed efficiently.
