After months of low numbers, monthly government fleet sales have finally beaten out vehicle sales from 2024. Government fleet sales saw a 15.6% increase from 18,697 vehicles in September 2024 to 21,616 vehicles sold last month.

Overall Monthly Increase for September

While not taking the place of the month with the most monthly sales — that award goes to May with 22,129 fleet sales — September had one of the highest numbers compared to the rest of 2025. [Government fleet totals included only numbers from Ford, GM, Stellantis, and Mazda. Five of the six major Asian-based automakers did not report any monthly government fleet sales].
