John Deere has introduced Operations Center PRO Service, a digital tool designed to help equipment owners maintain, diagnose, repair, and protect their machines. The platform supports both connected and non-connected models across the company’s agriculture, turf, construction, and forestry lines.
The new service includes features such as the ability to install software when replacing electronic components or controllers, a process commonly referred to as reprogramming.
Replacing Customer Service ADVISOR
Operations Center PRO Service expands the suite of digital support tools already available to John Deere customers, including the John Deere Operations Center, Equipment Mobile, and Shop.Deere.com. The system will gradually replace the Customer Service ADVISOR platform over the next year.
“The launch of Operations Center PRO Service reaffirms our support of customer self-repair and adds to the options already available for equipment maintenance,” said Denver Caldwell, vice president of aftermarket and customer support at John Deere.
The platform also allows independent service providers, with the equipment owner’s permission, to access diagnostic and repair information.
Core Capabilities
Certain features remain available at no additional cost through Operations Center Service Overview and Equipment Mobile, including:
Operator’s manuals
Active and stored diagnostic trouble codes
Secure software updates
JDLink information
Warranty information
New Features in PRO Service
The PRO Service platform provides digital repair content filtered by model year and equipment type, giving users targeted information to troubleshoot and repair equipment. Available through an annual license starting at $195 per machine, new features include:
Machine health insights and diagnostic codes
PIN-specific manuals and content
Software reprogramming for John Deere controllers
Diagnostic readings and recordings
Interactive diagnostic tests
Calibrations
Owners can access the platform through the John Deere Operations Center by adding equipment via the machine’s serial number. Some advanced features, such as software reprogramming, may require the use of an electronic data link. Additional updates are planned for future releases.
Operations Center PRO Service is now available to John Deere customers in the U.S. and Canada. Further details can be found on John Deere's website or through local John Deere dealers.
