Each year Government Fleet magazine names a fleet manager Public Sector Fleet Manager of the Year. The award is judged by a peer group of public-sector fleet managers from around the country and recognizes excellence in fleet management.

Alison Kerstetter, fleet manager for the City of Sacramento, California, was named the 2025 Public Sector Fleet Manager of the Year during the Honors Celebration at the 2025 Government Fleet Expo & Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina. The award was presented by Bill Collins of Element Fleet Management, the award sponsor.
