DEVELON has added two machines to its -7 Series lineup with the DX300LL-7 log loader and DX300RB-7 road builder. The new models are designed for heavier lifting and more demanding log handling applications.
They join the existing DX225LL-7 log loader and DX225RB-7 road builder in the series, which features enhanced safety options, heavy-duty components, and improved serviceability.
Equipment Design and Protection
The -7 Series machines are built for forestry conditions with reinforced side doors, quarter-inch side panels, and a guarded cooling system. A heavy-duty undercarriage provides increased ground clearance, and a front guard protects the cab from debris.
The DX300LL-7 cab is mounted on a 4-foot riser for better visibility and can hydraulically tilt 90 degrees for easier trailer transport.
Productivity Features
The DX300LL-7 and DX300RB-7 offer higher horsepower, faster cycle times, and increased lifting capacity compared to previous models. Tractive force has been improved for better mobility on uneven terrain, and a fine swing function minimizes load shaking.
Operators can access additional hydraulic power through a one-touch boost button and choose from four power modes to match operating conditions.
Operator Environment
The cab includes heating and cooling, air-suspension seating, LED lighting, and joystick controls that move with the seat. A multifunction LCD monitor displays diagnostics and camera feeds, with hybrid screen mode showing rear and side views at once.
An optional Around View Monitor camera system provides a 360-degree display for tighter work areas. Forestry cabs certified to Oregon OSHA and British Columbia WCB standards are available, featuring polycarbonate windows for added protection.
Service and Maintenance
Daily checks are simplified with centralized grease banks, protected filter locations, and a radiator with an auto-reversing fan. An optional in-cab air compressor is available for cab cleaning.
All models include the MY DEVELON fleet management telematics system, allowing remote monitoring of equipment health, location, and productivity.
Warranty and Support
The machines come with a 36-month/5,000-hour standard warranty. Support is available through local DEVELON dealers, backed by two U.S. parts distribution centers.
“Launching the DX300LL-7 and DX300RB-7 builds on the capabilities of our -7 Series,” said Morgan Stallings, senior director of dealer development, product and marketing. “These machines are suited for tougher lifting and handling requirements.”
