A Volusia County, Florida, man accused of murdering another county employee, a fleet maintenance worker, was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole, according to WKMG.
Damian DeRousha, who was 43 at the time, was arrested in February 2021 after the Volusia County sheriff said he admitted to shooting 31-year-old Donald Geno at the fleet maintenance facility in Daytona Beach. DeRousha's wife also worked at the facility. WKMG reported DeRousha was motivated over an alleged affair between Geno and his wife, Shauna.
