Colo. City Hires Fleet & Facilities Director for New Department
The City of Boulder, Colo., has restructured its Public Works Department, moving fleet management from Public Works to a newly created Facilities & Fleet Department.

The City of Boulder, Colo., has restructured its Public Works Department, moving fleet management from Public Works to a newly created Facilities & Fleet Department. The city hired Joanna Crean as the new director of Facilities & Fleet.
Crean will guide the transition of facilities and fleet to its own department. Crean has provided leadership in this area for the past three years and will oversee the development of the facilities master plan as well as continued implementation, maintenance, and operations of the city’s building infrastructure and fleet services.
In addition to Fleet Services, the new department has four other functional areas: Design & Construction Project Management, Engineering and Maintenance, Operations, and Real Estate Services.
