October Government Vehicle Sales Down from 2024

Government vehicle sales saw another dip in October compared to September while remaining below last year’s pace. Total monthly volume was 11.8% lower than October 2024, and both passenger cars and trucks/SUVs posted year-over-year declines [Hyundai, Nissan, Subaru, and Toyota sales numbers were not present for government fleets during this period].
October Numbers Lower Than Previous Month
Only 16 cars were reported sold in October, with 20,773 trucks and SUVs sold that same month, year-over-year drops of 96.6% and 9.2% respectively. The total of 20,789 government fleet sales was down from September, which saw 21,616 vehicles sold.
Year to date, 201,756 government vehicles have been sold, which is down 14.1% from this time last year when 200,867 vehicles were reported sold.
