Bobcat Company has expanded its industrial air compressor portfolio with the launch of the EA Series variable speed models, designed to provide high flow rates and energy efficiency for industrial and fleet applications.
The new models — EA30VS, EA50VS, EA75VS, and EA100VS — are now available through authorized Bobcat distributors.
“The new EA Series represents a step forward in industrial air compression technology for Bobcat,” said Cody Blythe, product manager, Bobcat Company. “These machines deliver strong flow rates with improved energy efficiency, helping customers reduce electricity costs and total cost of ownership.”
Built for Power and Efficiency
Each EA Series compressor features an IE5 energy-efficiency-class electric motor that uses permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) technology. The design provides greater efficiency compared to conventional motors.
A variable speed (VS) drive automatically adjusts air output to match demand, preventing unnecessary cycling and reducing power usage. Each unit also includes a high-capacity, two-stage airend configured in an over-under setup to maintain consistent flow across the horsepower range.
Additional features include a variable speed fan to maintain optimal operating temperatures and extend component life, even in demanding environments.
Advanced Controls and System Integration
The EA Series includes a 7-inch color LED controller that offers intuitive operation and system management. Operators can connect and optimize up to three additional compressors for coordinated performance across the system.
The controller also allows programmable scheduling by date, time, and pressure bands, providing precise control with minimal manual input. The compressors are suitable for outdoor installation when properly sheltered from weather exposure.
