There are several vehicle recalls to share with you for the month of February. Here are details on the latest recalls affecting government vehicle makes and models.

Alamo Group AllVac AVRB-18 Vehicles

Alamo Group has recalled certain 2018-2021 AllVac AVRB-18 vehicles. The exhaust silencer needs to be inspected. The vibration from vacuum operations could lead to the exhaust silencer welds cracking, resulting in the detachment of the exhaust silencer from the vehicle.

Autocar Xpeditor Vehicles

Certain Autocar 2020-2023 Xpeditor vehicles are also recalled. The exterior lighting may not meet the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108. The external sun visor may obstruct the roof-mounted clearance lights.

Ford Explorer SUVs

Ford Motor Company is recalling 2020-2023 Explorers equipped with a 360-degree camera. As reported by Automotive Fleet, video output may fail, preventing the rearview camera image from displaying on the touchscreen. To fix the problem, dealers will update the image processing module (IPMB) software.

Chevrolet Silverados and GMC Sierra Trucks

General Motors has recalled 2017-2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, 3500, and GMC Sierra 2500, 3500 vehicles equipped with a dual fuel tank option. The rear fuel tank failure may cause an engine stall from the fuel pump, preventing the transfer of fuel to the front tank. The fuel tank and fuel pump module need to be inspected at the dealer.

Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain SUVs

General Motors has also recalled certain 2021-2022 Chevrolet Equinox and 2022 GMC Terrain vehicles for potential engine stalls increasing the risk of a crash. The fuel pump module may not consistently provide sufficient fuel to the engine, resulting in an engine stall. The fuel pump module has to be replaced at a dealership.

Isuzu Motors Limited Vehicles

Isuzu Motors Limited has recalled certain vehicles listed below, because they need the ADAS camera and ABS module recalibrated. Without the recalibration, the electrical system, service brakes, air, electronic stability control, and forward collision avoidance could be affected.

  • 2022-2023 Isuzu NQR, NRR.
  • 2022 Chevrolet Low Cab Forward (LCF) 5500HD.
  • 2022-2023 Chevrolet LCF 5500XD.
  • 2023 Hino S52.

Maintainer Corporation Maintainer Service Trucks

Maintainer Corporation of Iowa has recalled 2019-2023 Maintainer Service Trucks with Hydraulic Telescopic Cranes. As originally reported by Work Truck, during crane operation, if power gets disconnected to the receiver on the Maintainer crane, the crane may continue to move without control of the user. Losing control over the crane while it is moving may increase the risk of injury to the operator or those nearby.
