Decked announced the CargoGlide for Ford Maverick, a first-of-its-kind product for the compact, unibody pickup with a 1,000-pound payload capacity.

First revealed in mid-2022, Decked's CargoGlide product is a heavy-duty sliding bed platform aiming to simplify loading, unloading, organizing, and accessing gear.

CargoGlide mounts inside the pickup bed and creates a sliding load floor. It rolls out of the truck bed from its locked position and extends either 70% or 100%, depending on the model selected, of the load floor beyond the rear of the pickup.

Accessibility is Key

This added space provides full and unrestricted access to gear and cargo, making out-of-reach gear more accessible with the pull of a lever.

“With its 1,000-pound payload, CargoGlide allows Maverick owners to store and easily retrieve heavy and bulky items like welders, compressors, heavy-duty tools, refrigerators, spare tires, rescue gear, boxes, and more without crawling into the back of the truck," Decked VP of Marketing Greg Randolph said. "This makes it perfect for Mavericks used for work and personal duty.”

Users can purchase the Decked CargoGlide for Ford Maverick with an either 70% or 100% extension of the tray. Both can support up to 1,000 lbs of cargo. Constructed from powder-coated American steel and industrial, marine-grade plywood coated with a thermoplastic top sheet, CargoGlide is rugged enough for the harshest work environments.

In addition, gear can be secured to the CargoGlide by affixing straps to the side rails with infinitely adjustable cargo tie-down locations.

Easy Installation

CargoGlide comes pre-assembled, and Decked noted that installation can be completed in as little as 30 minutes. All fleets need to do is:

  1. Drill, according to the instructions.
  2. Install the hardware.
  3. Bolt it down.

CargoGlide is available to purchase online now at as well as nationwide through Decked’s network of 2,500 dealers. Decked acquired CargoGlide in early 2022, fully integrating the CargoGlide line into the Decked lineup of products.
