The Office of Fleet Management for the city Of Alexandria, Virginia, hosted an electric vehicle (EV)
ride and drive event on December 2, 2022. The event was attended by area municipalities as well as city staff from Alexandria.
Fleet Acquisitions Manager Ken Lett coordinated with area vendors to bring in participation for the event.
“We are pleased to be able to bring this to the area and host the event so that staff can see
what is available for us," Lett said.
On hand to drive was the Ford Mach-E Mustang, the Ford F150 Lighting, a Mack Electric Refuse Truck, a Ford ETransit, and a Cenntro All Electric Truck Chassis that can be fitted for an enclosed cargo van or stack body truck.
