The Menzi Muck M220 walking excavator's special features are based on a high-tech chassis and the patented boom. Various hydraulic cylinders enable the all-rounder to adapt its wheels and supports to any terrain.
The four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine of Deutz (75 hp) meets Tier 4 emissions technology and is ready for even stricter upcoming emission limits.
The M220 features hydrostatic two-wheel drive over the two big wheels, as well as two removable shafts with two small steering wheels. The electronically controlled drive system ensures precise and regular propulsion up to 5 mph. Depending on the steering angle, distribution of wheel speeds and driving forces are equally and continuously adapted to the driving situation.
Hydraulic telescopable stabilization and the enormous adjustment range of the M2 chassis creates a stable balance angle on steep slope.
Fixed tilting edges on Menzi Muck tracked excavators can be adjusted depending on the task ahead thanks to the adjustable wheel and claw supports.
