Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas’ new HL940TM wheel loader is the latest release in the Tier 4 final-compliant HL900 series and is the first in the lineup with a Tool Master model. Featuring Hyundai’s Tool Master boom design, the new wheel loader has parallel linkage for increased lifting size, enhanced load stability, rapid dumping capability, and improved visibility.

The HL940TM has a cab space 10% larger than previous models, and it includes an interactive touch-screen monitor (which includes a speed-limit control), enhanced climate control, adjustable and heated air-ride seat, and centralized control switches. The cab is also significantly quieter than previous models; in-cab sound levels were reduced to 3 db.

Like other HL900 models, the model includes Hyundai’s proprietary onboard weighing system, which has automatic and manual settings for monitoring individual and cumulative bucket load weights. The HL940TM also delivers 10% lower fuel consumption and up to 5% greater productivity than previous 9A series models

The HL940TM comes with a standard 3.0 cubic yard bucket, and has a bucket breakout force of 23,880 lb.-ft

The HL900 series achieves better a fuel economy with features such as an Eco Pedal, Eco Gauge, and programmable auto-engine shutdown.

A three-year, 3,000-hour standard warranty, and five-year, 5,000-hour structural warranty are included with the HL940TM.
