Caterpillar's new high-production B-series Tandem Vibratory Rollers feature a Cat C4.4 ACERT engine that meets EPA Tier 4 Final emissions and provides 142 hp. The CB64B, CB66B, and CB68B weigh 12 to 14 metric tons and feature wide drum widths, a high-flow water spray system, and enhanced technology for easy operation.

Features include auto-adjustable compaction, which delivers the highest amplitude possible without de-coupling or over-compacting, and pass count and temperature mapping, which provides a real-time visual reference of the passes made and asphalt mat temperatures.

Operators can monitor areas of coverage and the number of passes made, which is especially helpful when working with multiple machines. Using a drum-mounted accelerometer, the system can calculate a "composite stiffness value" that indicates the stiffness of the current and supporting layers beneath the drum. 

Automatic Eco-mode and automatic speed control deliver fuel economy and lower sound levels. Vibratory options including dual amplitude, dual frequency, Versa Vibe, and five amplitude systems. The durable water spray system includes dual spray bars, dual pumps, triple filtration, and adjustable intermittent operation. 180-degree seating, handwheel steering technology, and LCD display with push-button conrols offer a comfortable experience for operators as well.
