6D and 6R Series Tractors
The 2015 model of the 6D series has a single fluid interim Tier 4 engine while the 6R Series (6170R, 6190R, and 6210R) will continue to feature its final Tier 4 engine.

John Deere's 6D and 6R series tractors have added features that can be found in some of the larger tractor models.
The four 6D Series Tractors (6105D, 6115D, 620D, and 6140D) come with the options of a 12/12 PowrReverser or 24/12 PowrReverser Hi/Lo. The 2015 model of the 6D series will still have a single fluid interim Tier 4 engine.
A new feature for the 6R Series is five extra horsepower. The 6R Series (6170R, 6190R, and 6210R) will continue to feature its final Tier 4 engine with Intelligent Power Management.
Other enhancements include a new hydraulic calve stack with up to six SCVs, new remote rear couplers like those found on the 7R and 8R Tractors, and IVT transmission with new overdrive that maintains transport speeds at lower RPMs.
Changes within the tractor include a new CommandARM with a standard 7-in. and optional 10-in. Generation 4 CommandCenter touch-screen display that can also be found in the 7R and 8R models. A 30 degree right-hand swivel seat has been added also.
