The mid-size Cat 320F hydraulic excavator features a powerful and efficient C4.4 ACERT U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final engine with a 161-hp rating and a hydraulic system capable of taking on a variety of tasks.
The 320F consumes up to 8.5% less fuel than the 320E hydraulic excavator in standard mode, while delivering the same lifting and digging capability. It also features advanced electronic, fuel, air, and aftertreatment components such as a maintenance-free diesel particulate filter. It is also able to automatically manage pump and engine speed for improved fuel efficiency.
Auxiliary hydraulic circuits on the 320F are available to support a variety of tools like hammers, grapples, and thumbs. Available tool control and quick coupler makes for swift tool changes.
The 320F features a high-pressure fuel system with high-pressure pump and injectors to enhance durability and reliability.
A handrail helps take the operator to the top of the machine, and anti-skid plating and countersunk bolts help reduce the risk of slipping and tripping. The 320F also has a standard rearview camera, and it also comes with a full-length firewall to separate the pump and engine compartments. Plus a red-colored, ground-level fuel cutoff switch to shut down the engine in case of emergency is reachable from the seat.
Product Link/VisionLink technology found on the 320F connects the operators to critical information such as location, fuel consumption, idle time, events, and diagnostic codes.
