REDMOND, WA – Terex Corporation (TEX) announced that it will leverage the combined strengths of Terex Equipment Services (TES) and Crane America Services (CAS), the North American service segment of Terex Material Handling and Port Solutions (MH & PS), to form the new service provider: Terex Services North America. This change will be effective December 2012 and will be aligned under the Terex Aerial Work Platform (AWP) business segment. The new service provider will be led by Siva Balakrishnan, Terex AWP vice president and general manager, Terex Services North America.

“The two North American service organizations have already been very successful in their own right,” said Balakrishnan. “Terex Services customers will now benefit from a deeper pool of resources and expanded geographical coverage, as well as the combined ability of Terex Services to service a broader range of products at their sites.”

Through this integration, Terex Services customers will now have access to a service network of 900 team members operating in more than 50 markets.

“We will continue to work closely with MH & PS to provide industrial crane customers excellent support, as well as service for new product lines, such as Terex tower cranes and Genie aerial work platforms,” said Balakrishnan.

The two service organizations have already expanded their reach into new geographies by leveraging a combined footprint of CAS and TES in Columbus, Ohio and Denver, Colorado.
