A Mesa County, Colo., fleet technician stopped going to work after writing e-mails to a county commissioner alleging she spread misinformation about employees receiving raises, The Daily Sentinel reported.
The commissioner stated that employees had received significant raises in the past three years. Johnny McCarty, mechanic, wrote to her that some of his fleet co-workers hadn’t received a raise in years, and he didn’t receive a promised raise in his second year despite a good review.
