Ohio County Signs First Intergovernmental Fleet Repair Agreement — Warren County will charge the City of Franklin for the actual cost of replacement parts or supplies, plus its customary hourly labor rate.

Warren County, Ohio has approved an intergovernmental agreement to provide vehicle maintenance and repairs to vehicles from the City of Franklin.

According to the Journal-News, Assistant County Administrator Martin Russell was approached by Franklin City Manager Jonathan Westendorf about the partnership. Russell said the county has the capacity to provide ongoing repair and maintenance services for police vehicles and other internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles from Franklin.

Russell said this is the first intergovernmental agreement for a local municipality to use the county garage. The county will charge the city for the actual cost of replacement parts or supplies, plus its customary hourly labor rate.
