The U.S. Department of the Navy has posted a solicitation to commercially lease between 400 and 600 battery-electric vehicles for use at the Navy and Marine Corps installations in California.

Some of the bases at which these vehicles will be used include Naval Base San Diego, Naval Base Point Loma, Naval Base Coronado, NAF El Centro, Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach, Naval Base Ventura County, Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake, Naval Air Station Lemoore, Naval Support Activity Monterey, Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, MCB Camp Pendleton, Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, and Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twenty-Nine Palms.
