Government Vehicle Sales See Continued Growth from Beginning of Year

Despite the monthly total going up, this month's sales are still down compared to this time last year dropping  15.2% from 24,346 in March 2024.

March government fleet sales saw another increase of overall monthly sales since the beginning of 2025, according to Bobit Business Media fleet numbers released on April 1.

Last month's vehicle sales came in at 20,641 vehicles, compared to the 18,383 vehicles sold in February and 17,148 sold in January [Government fleet numbers were only present from Ford, GM, and Stellantis. The six major Asian-based automakers did not report any monthly fleet sales].

Numbers Still Aren't Above 2024 Sales

Despite the monthly total going up, this month's sales are still down compared to this time last year dropping  15.2% from 24,346 in March 2024.

Cars sales fell 80% from 600 in 2024 to 120 in 2025. Truck and SUVs sales also saw a dip dropping from 23,746 in 2024 to 20,521 vehicles in 2025. 

Year to Date, there have been 56,172 total government vehicle sales, which is a 14.8% drop from 2024's 65,904 sales.
