A municipality in Washington has purchased two Workhorse W4 CC electric work trucks equipped with 16-foot Summit dry van bodies to support its fleet operations.
The trucks, procured through Sourcewell—a cooperative purchasing organization that simplifies procurement for government agencies—will be used for trash and recycling can switch-outs. This acquisition aligns with the city’s efforts to enhance operational efficiency while reducing emissions.

The purchase was facilitated by The Truck Shop, a Workhorse certified dealer with locations in Washington and Oregon.
As an awarded contract supplier since 2024, Workhorse provides public sector organizations with access to medium-duty electric work trucks, supporting the transition to more sustainable fleet operations.
