McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing is recalling 809 2010-2015 model-year Zero Radius (ZR) Side-Loader Refuse Trucks – Model 48 – because of faulty air-actuated transit arm latches, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said.
These recalled trucks were manufactured from Jan. 1, 2010, to April 10 of this year. The air-actuated transit arm latch might loosen over time and cause an unintentional release. As a result, the arm might extend beyond the overall width of the vehicle and cause a crash, NHTSA said.
