General Motors' government sales manager, Brian Bowden, will retire in July. He will be replaced by Dana Hammer, GM's existing manager of law enforcement product sales, GM has announced.

Bowden, who joined GM in 1982, organizes customer- and dealer-facing activities to support government customer conquests throughout the U.S. Hammer will take on Bowden's duties and retain his current role. Bowden announced his retirement at the Government Fleet Expo earlier this month.

GM Fleet has also announced the retirement of Jeff Haag, a regional director of commercial sales for the Northeast. He will be replaced by Betsy Flagg.

"GM Fleet has made huge strides building stronger relationships with commercial and government fleet managers thanks to the hard work of Jeff Haag and Brian Bowden. They have nearly 70 years of experience between them, and were devoted to finding solutions for our customers,” said Ed Peper, vice president of GM Fleet. "Betsy and Dana share the same commitment and they will help us accelerate everything we are doing to become the preferred business partner for government and commercial customers."
