BMW of North America is recalling 911 2014-2017 R1200RT Police motorcycles because the brake lights might not illuminate when the brakes are applied, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Dealers will update software to resolve the problem, NHTSA said. There will be no charge for this service.
The recall is expected to get underway Sept. 25. Fleet managers can reach BMW customer service at (800) 525-7417.
