Morton Grove, Illinois, Police suspect four U.S. Postal Service vehicles were intentionally set on fire on Sunday, July 3. The fire happened at a U.S. Post Office on Waukegan Road in Morton Grove.
The U.S. Postal Inspection Service (USPIS) reports that the damage is an estimated $60,000-70,000. The vehicles and other property were damaged, according to police. No mail appears to have been damaged or stolen.
Morton Grove Police are assisting the Morton Grove Fire Department, the USPIS, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, and the Office of the Illinois State Fire Marshal.
