The Torrington (Wyo.) Police Department is looking to replace its entire patrol fleet and allow officers to take home police vehicles, the Star Herald reported.

Assigning one officer per vehicle would keep mileage down and improve officer accountability for vehicles. The city is going out to bid for vehicles and expects to purchase Dodge Chargers.
