Did your public fleet operation make the cut for the Leading Fleets award? Find out!
Government Fleet announced the Leading Fleets for 2025 at the Government Fleet Expo & Conference. The awards program, co-produced with the American Public Works Association and sponsored by Ford Pro, recognizes operations that are performing at a high level, particularly in fleet leadership, competitiveness and efficiency, planning for the future, and overcoming challenges.
The 50 Leading Fleets represent the best in the industry. Rankings for the top 20 fleets as well as the top fleets in size categories: No. 1 small fleet (499 or fewer assets), No. 1 mid-size fleet (500-999 assets), and No. 1 large fleet (1,000 or more assets) were announced at the Government Fleet Expo & Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Criteria for the award include:
Efficiency, effectiveness, and modernity of the fleet operation.
How the operation tracks metrics.
How the operation prioritizes and exhibits leadership within its team, with customers, within its local community, and within the overall fleet community.
How the operation ensures competitiveness and efficiency.
The future vision of the operation and steps taken to get there.
