Ranger Design introduced its new Composite Aluminum Shelving. At a time when fleets are looking to reduce the load on vehicles — particularly electric vehicles (EVs) — the shelving reduces weight without compromising strength.

With the latest in advanced composite materials from powersport and anti-ballistic applications, the new shelving line provides the same load capacity as Ranger Design’s steel shelving with a 33% reduction in weight.

The new aluminum-alloy end panels are coated with a protective finish that improves smudge- and abrasion-resistance. This coating also eliminates the need for PVC film, reducing packaging and making installation easier.

Each shelf combines Ranger Design’s aluminum extrusions with a honeycomb composite, providing improved noise mitigation and protection across a wider range of chemicals.

The line offers 14 new options, available in 7 widths and 2 heights --
