Enhanced Visibility for Next-Gen DEVELON Tool Carrier Models

DEVELON has introduced its next-generation tool carrier models, and the company is highlighting features such as increased visibility down the center of the parallel-lift arms.
The models are the DL200TC-7 and DL250TC-7, and that increased visibility allows operators a clear view of the ground, truck or work area in front of the machine. The new models round out the -7 Series wheel loader introductions for DEVELON, formerly known as Doosan Construction Equipment.

DEVELON wheel loader product manager Bill Zak said the products are a continuation of the Doosan -3 and -5 machines. Zak said the company increased visibility out of the cab. Strategically mounted cameras allow the operator to see high and low through a transparent bucket. The machine offers additional visibility through a ground-view monitor in the back.
“For municipalities, safety is key,” Zak said. “Being able to see your environment all around that machine is worth a million bucks right there.”
Features Include Dynamic Braking, Creep Function
The DL200TC-7 tool carrier features a hydrostatic transmission that brings more power, better fuel efficiency and improved precision. Dynamic braking is one feature of the hydrostatic drive. When operators remove their foot from the travel control pedal, the system will automatically reduce the flow of oil. That causes the machine to slow, resulting in less brake wear and lower energy consumption.
Speed management is another feature, allowing operators to adjust their maximum travel speed independently from engine speed. Operators can also use the convenient creep function to easily fine-tune their loader’s position without pressing the accelerator pedal.
For more control when doing precision work, the variable speed control offers seven preset speeds within first gear.
