A new Grand Island, Neb., police vehicle will be helping to attract new recruits. According to a Facebook post, donations were collected by Grand Island Hall County Crime Stoppers, and contributions from G&H Construction, Miller Tire, Richard Willis in memory of Eurdis Willis, Midwest Express, Allen Capital Group, Diamond Plastics, Agricultural Services Inc, and Copycat Printing helped pay for the graphics.

The cruiser will make appearances at college job fairs and at local high schools, according to The Grand Island Independent. On the vehicle are the words “Join our team,” along with the department’s website address and phone number.

Officers will ride in the vehicle while patrolling the streets as they would in any other police unit.
