Thurston County in Washington is looking to hire a fleet services manager for its fleet. The fleet services manager oversees 12 employees, an annual operating budget of $5 million, and an equipment replacement fund of nearly $12 million. The county fleet has approximately 350 light-duty units, 320 heavy equipment assets, and numerous pieces of light equipment, materials, and parts supply services, and radio/communications equipment.
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree (experience substitution allowed) and four years in fleet and equipment management. Fleet-specific certifications such as the Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM), Certified Public Fleet Professional (CPFP), and Certified Equipment Manager (CEM), are desired.
