The National Conference of State Fleet Administrators (NCSFA) recently announced the theme and agenda for the association’s State Fleet Managers Workshop, which will be held Sept. 12-14 in Des Moines, Iowa.
This year’s 2.5-day Workshop theme is “Connecting Your Fleet to the Future” and will feature sessions focused on autonomous vehicles — cybersecurity, infrastructure, and liability. Autonomous vehicles will also be at the event for participant rides and demonstrations.
"Iowa is a hotbed of autonomous vehicle research and we are thankful to Iowa State University for hosting our 2017 workshop,” said NCSFA President Bob Williams. “We believe this year’s workshop will offer a unique educational and networking experience for state and university fleet managers from around the country. We look forward to seeing everyone in Des Moines.”
