State Fleet Managers Workshop to Focus on the Future of Fleet Management
The National Conference of State Fleet Administrators' 2017 State Fleet Managers Workshop is themed “Connecting Your Fleet to the Future” and will feature sessions focused on autonomous vehicles — cybersecurity, infrastructure, and liability.
The National Conference of State Fleet Administrators (NCSFA) recently announced the theme and agenda for the association’s State Fleet Managers Workshop, which will be held Sept. 12-14 in Des Moines, Iowa.
This year’s 2.5-day Workshop theme is “Connecting Your Fleet to the Future” and will feature sessions focused on autonomous vehicles — cybersecurity, infrastructure, and liability. Autonomous vehicles will also be at the event for participant rides and demonstrations.
"Iowa is a hotbed of autonomous vehicle research and we are thankful to Iowa State University for hosting our 2017 workshop,” said NCSFA President Bob Williams. “We believe this year’s workshop will offer a unique educational and networking experience for state and university fleet managers from around the country. We look forward to seeing everyone in Des Moines.”
