FORT COLLINS, CO – The Rocky Mountain Fleet Management Association (RMFMA) launched a new membership category, called Individual Fleet Membership, to complement the Small Fleet and Regular Fleet memberships. The new membership category, which begins this month, was initiated following significant interest from current members, automotive technicians, their instructors, and retiring fleet professionals, according to the RMFMA.
The Board of Directors and the RMFMA membership voted and approved the new Membership Type: Individual Fleet Memberships. The RMFMA now offers full membership to four additional groups of fleet professionals: Fleet Colleagues, Fleet Mentors, Fleet Apprentices, and Fleet Educators. Individuals who meet the criteria for Individual Membership will have full membership benefits, including the right to vote and hold office at both the Chapter and National levels.
Fleet Mentors are individual retired fleet professionals that desire to stay involved with fleet and are willing to become an active mentor, sharing their wisdom and experience, for the next generation of fleet professionals.
Fleet Apprentices are individual students currently enrolled in an education program pursuing a career in fleet management but are not currently affiliated with a fleet organization.
Fleet Educators are professors or instructors that are actively teaching fleet-related studies or technical skills.
Fleet Colleagues are individuals not currently associated with any fleet organization or an individual whose employing organization will not cover the cost of professional memberships or dues.
The RMFMA is an association of fleet management professionals. The association currently has five active chapters in the states of Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Texas, and Utah.
