Public Fleet Summits is heading back to Texas, this time to the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The event will be held at the DFW Airport Marriot South in Fort Worth May 7-8.
Many sessions are now broken out into two separate tracks, so attendees can learn about the topic that most applies to them. This also allows for smaller groups for improved discussion.

Bob Stanton, retired fleet manager for the City of San Antonio, Texas, as well as Polk and Hillsborough counties in Florida, will deliver the first session about leadership in public service.
Featured speakers include some of the most recognized names in the industry. Session topics include: government accounting and budgeting, fuel and inventory control, moving from the shop floor to management, how to use fleet management systems to your advantage, calculating labor rates, and the benefits of writing a business plan.
The two-day summits, produced by the Government Solutions Team and Government Fleet magazine, are regional education and networking events that will take place around the country. The summits address the need for high-quality professional fleet training while recognizing that budget restrictions are making travel difficult for many. Each year, the group conducts six events around the country; the inaugural Public Fleet Summit took place in the Northwest.
