The City of Pittsburgh has increased its fleet of Public Works plows and spreaders as the city readies itself for winter operations, reports WTAE.
The city added 13 plows and spreaders over last year to increase its fleet to 146 vehicles. The city's largest territory that includes Squirrel Hill, Hazelwood into the Hill District, and New Homestead has the most snow-fighting equipment with 25 pieces. The district also has six pieces in the shop.
