Pa. County to Lease Majority of Fleet

The contract covers maintenance costs and roadside assistance, and the county will pay $5,000 per year for each vehicle.
The county will lease 37 vehicles across numerous departments out of its fleet of 60 units. It currently purchases all its vehicles, and handles minor maintenance in house while sending out major issues to the dealership, Chief Clerk Jeffrey Marshall told Government Fleet. Cost savings are calculated using estimated savings in fuel and maintenance costs.
