The Chester (N.Y.) Fire Department celebrated the addition of five fire trucks with a public “wetdown,” where neighboring fire departments brought their trucks to baptize the new vehicles by dousing them, The Chronicle reported.

The additions are three fire engines with 1,000-gallon capacity, a tanker with 3,000-gallon capacity, and a utility vehicle that serves as a mini-rescue and brush truck. All apparatus were purchased with money from the reserve fund.

Two nearby fire departments were standing by to cover calls coming into the Chester FD, the department stated on Facebook.
