NTSI Selected to Develop International Driver Safety Program for Soldiers
TUCSON, AZ – The United States Army has put up $1.6 million for a driver awareness program, and has selected the National Traffic Safety Institute to spearhead the four-year campaign. It is expected to launch March 2005.
TUCSON, AZ – The United States Army has put up $1.6 million for a driver awareness program, and has selected the National Traffic Safety Institute to spearhead the four-year campaign. It is expected to launch March 2005.
The multidisciplinary course will include case studies to motivate soldiers to improve driving skills, risk assessments of driving behavior and habits, and programs that address aggressive driving.
NTSI-licensed training manuals and facilitator guides will be included in the campaign. Public service announcements will also be produced for radio and television broadcasts.
