Government Fleet magazine is accepting nominations for the Public Sector Fleet Manager of the Year award. The annual award, now in its 13th year, recognizes an individual fleet professional for excellence in fleet management.

Government Fleet magazine is accepting nominations for the Public Sector Fleet Manager of the Year award. The annual award, sponsored by General Motors, recognizes an individual fleet professional for excellence in fleet management. The last day to submit a nomination is March 6.
Any industry professional can nominate a fleet manager for this award. Self nominations are accepted. Qualified nominees will be asked to complete an essay questionnaire for judges. A group of public sector fleet managers from around the country judges the award.
Candidates are judged on the following criteria: business plan, technology implementation, productivity, policies, preventive maintenance program, utilization management, replacement program, customer service, fuel management, and safety.
The winner will be announced at the Government Fleet Expo & Conference (GFX), which takes place June 12-15 in San Antonio, Texas. The winner and finalists will be featured in Government Fleet magazine.
