Mitchell 1 has expanded its coverage of waveform and PID graphs in its ProDemand repair, diagnostic, and maintenance information program to now total more than 750,000 graphs. The waveform and PID graph library provides known-good and known-bad comparative graphs to aid technicians as they troubleshoot a code or symptom with a diagnostic tool, such as a Snap-on SOLUS Edge.
“We are pleased to deliver this newly-expanded library of waveforms to help technicians compare the settings and results they have on their scopes and scan tools to known results that they see in ProDemand with SureTrack,” said Mike Alberry, ProDemand product manager, Mitchell 1. “This not only saves them time, but can help increase diagnostic accuracy on a consistent basis.”

Mitchell 1 offers the industry’s largest collection of waveform and PID graphs to help technicians diagnose codes and symptoms more accurately. The waveforms and PID graphs have been captured on diagnostic scan tools from the actual vehicles and uploaded to ProDemand, many from technicians who have tested the vehicles in their shops and shared their real-world screen captures via the SureTrack community in ProDemand.
ProDemand provides full OEM repair, estimating, maintenance information, and real-world industry insights to help technicians work faster and more accurately. Technicians enter a diagnostic trouble code, component or symptom and ProDemand returns information from Mitchell 1’s extensive library of OEM content as well as detailed parts replacement trends, tips and Real Fixes from SureTrack’s expert-based information database. ProDemand is also integrated with Manager SE, Mitchell 1’s shop management system.
