KNOXVILLE, TN – To fund the proposed $649 million budget for next year, Knox County officials are looking to save on other county expenses, including fleet vehicles, according to the Arizona Republic.
Commissioners R. Larry Smith and Mike Hammond said they want to take a close look at take-home vehicles to find ways to cut even more. The county's chief administrative officer, Dwight Van de Vate, said the administration is asking for only one new vehicle, a garbage truck for the Parks and Recreation Department, according to the Arizona Republic.
