PITTSBURGH – A woman was charged with theft and driving under the influence for stealing a police car that was parked outside a police station, according to the Associated Press. The woman had left a bar after it had closed and walked across the street to the police station to ask for a ride home. She knocked on the doors, but got no response. Afterwards, she drove away in a police car. The vehicle was left unattended with the engine running while the officer was using the restroom. Officers found the car parked on a street later that morning. Police were able to track down the woman after finding footprints in the snow leading from the car to a house where the woman was staying.
