TEMPE, AZ – Video 4 of Aaron Alvarado’s how-to video series on presenting fleet data explains forecast modeling by cost center. Using forecast modeling will allow fleet managers to be able to “forecast cost expenditures monthly or quarterly to detail individual cost centers’ ability to stay on budget,” according to Alvarado. This is a two-part video.
This is the fourth of a five-part How-to video series on presenting data for fleet benchmarking, presented by Alvarado, fleet manager for the City of Tempe, Ariz. Alvarado has covered how to graphically depict idle time, how to embed this idle time graph into Excel, how to combine and separate data fields in Excel using the concatenate/de-concatenate function. Next Monday's video will focus on presenting the data in a combination chart.
