Houston's Mayor Nominates New Director of Fleet Management

HOUSTON – The City of Houston’s Mayor Annise Parker has announced a new director of fleet management for the City, Kenneth Hoglund, who previously worked as the director of fleet management for Cintas Corp.

HOUSTON – The City of Houston’s Mayor Annise Parker has announced a new Director of Fleet Management for the City, Kenneth Hoglund, who previously worked as the Director of Fleet Management for Cintas Corp.

As the Director of Fleet Management for Cintas, Hoglund managed a fleet of 13,000 vehicles, according to the City. He has held managerial positions at UPS, DHL, FedEx and Boeing during the past 20 years. He received his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Washington in Seattle and is expected to receive his Master of Science degree in Finance from Golden Gate University this May.

“It’s a great honor to have the opportunity to join the executive team of the City of Houston and I especially thank Mayor Parker, City Council and the residents of Houston,” said Hoglund. “I look forward to leading the Fleet Department on its journey to becoming a world class fleet operation.”

The Houston City Council still has to confirm the Mayor’s nomination.
