Green Fleet Management Seminar to Save Costs and Air Quality for Business Transportation

DOWNEY, CA – On July 31, California Green Solutions is presenting a half-day seminar of practical solutions that connect attendees with incentives, products, and strategies to help companies save 10 percent or more off their operating costs and reduce emissions to meet compliance goals at the same time. Geared to owners, facility managers, operations managers, shipping supervisors, and fleet managers, the seminar will cover the business case and the technologies for basic green solutions.

The seminar will be from 8 a.m.–12 noon at the Energy Resource Center, Southern California Gas Company, in Downey, Calif. For those wishing to exhibit their green solutions at these seminars, contact Eric Bezko at ericb@californiagreensolutions.com or 949-644-4842.

Panel one, “Explore the Green Business Case, Innovative Technologies, and Financing Options,” will include the following speakers:

  • Rick Sikes, City of Santa Monica Fleet Management

  • Dean Saito with South Coast AQMD

  • Susan Romeo with WestStart-CALSTART

  • Kathy Dasal with Orange Commercial Credit

  • Richard Leimbach with California Truck Association

    Panel two, “Natural Gas, Biodiesel, and Electric Alternatives Deliver Lower Cost & Lower Emissions for Light, Medium, & Heavy Transport,” will include the following speakers:

  • Russell Sydney form the Sustainable Transport Club

  • Michael Bolin with The Gas Company’s Alternative Fuel division

  • Bryon Bliss with the brand-spanking new Phoenix electric pickup for fleets
